The murals on the south side date from the 1400s and are the only ones in the Nordic region to portray the life of Saint Francis. The brass chandeliers are the largest in Sweden and probably made in north Germany. The pulpit was completed in 1736 by a master, namely the court-appointed sculptor Burchard Precht.
