Ulvsbomuren is an old farmhouse dating from the seventeenth century located in the heart of Bergslagen, 45 km. north of Västerås, not more than a two-hour drive from Stockholm. The farm is surrounded by deep forests with a very rich wildlife and great oppor­tunities for hiking.

 

In our two old timber cottages we can accommodate 10 guests. Bykhuset(the old wash-house) and Smedjan (the old smithy) have been restored in order to create a practical and functional lodging. The well equipped kitchen and the bathroom with shower in Bykhuset are shared between the two cottages. In the sleeping loft of Bykhuset there are six beds in two separate bedrooms. In Smedjan there are four beds in one room.

 

We offer bed & breakfast or full board with all meals included. We serve food from the woods of Bergslagen, game, berries and mushrooms from the local forest and lamb from our own farm. If you prefer you can rent one or both of our timber cottages. Bring your own meals and beddings and do your own cleaning.
